LASIK Results

If you lead an active lifestyle and are bothered by the inconvenience or appearance of glasses and the risks of contact lenses, you may be a candidate for Laser Vision Correction. Also, if allergies, dry eye, or other eye disorders make contact lenses irritating to wear, LVC may be a safe, convenient alternative. For many of our patients, Laser Vision Correction is a life-changing experience. A dramatic improvement in vision takes place painlessly in just a few minutes. Many people wake up the morning after surgery and see the alarm clock clearly for the first time ever.

Not everyone is a candidate for Laser Vision Correction surgery. Most candidates for LVC are 21 years of age or over, although ladies may be candidates at 18 with a stable refraction. In addition to having a healthy cornea, patients should not have had a significant change in their prescription in the last 12 months. People with certain medical conditions may not be good candidates for Laser Vision Correction. New mothers need to finish nursing prior to undergoing the procedure.

Conditions Treatable by "Laser Vision Correction":
